She took part in projects conceived by Berlin Choreographer Felix Ruckert in 2008 and has since been working on projects with performers from various disciplines.
She is currently working on blending her signtaure self-suspensions with an approach to movement which finds its roots in Tai-chi Chuan and Butoh Dance principles.
How to become the Other while remaining Oneself: an experimental proposal based on mental and physical exercises, focussing on both our inner world and our external reality.
This workshop will offer participants an opportunity to explore the moments right after birth, the first separation from the mother, when the umbilical cord is cut, allowing them to Enter the World as individuals.This is an invitation for participants to create their own experiential (and experimental) version of this important moment.
A soundscape specifically conceived for this workshop will evoke the womb atmosphere and guide the participants through the stages of birth, under the powerful guidance of the Mother of all Steam engines, and culminate in the cutting of the umbilical cord, making them free individuals ready to roam the Earth..
